Cherry Blossoms at Senkoji Temple Park

The view of the Seto Inland Sea and cherry blossoms seen from the observatory is splendid.

Senkoji Temple Park was chosen as one of the 100 best cherry blossom spots in Japan. When the cherries start to bloom, the park is blanketed with pink petals. The view of the dotting islands in the sea and blossoms is marvelous.

How to get there:
Walk from JR Onomichi station for 15 minutes to Senkoji-yama station and a take a cable car for 3 minutes, then you will get to Sancho summit station.
