The first Japanese jeans were made in Kojima in the 1960s. Since then the area near the former Kojima station have been gaining popularity for Kojima Jeans Street, where visitors can learn the history and features of these jeans. The 400 meter street has 25 shops; jeans shops, workshops, galleries and cafés. You can find special jeans made with great care and attention to detail.
