The ritual is held at Tamawakasu-mikoto Shrine on June 5th every year and is one of the three biggest festivals in Okinoshima Town (Dōgo Island). The highlight is the spectacular moment of powerful horses dashing toward the venue. The scene impresses visitors who fill both sides of the passage.
