Some restaurants serve local food of Yamaguchi, such as dishes of blowfish and kawara-soba( noodles stir-fried with other ingredients on a ceramic tile). At cafes, ice cream and drinks can be enjoyed.

Local delicacies, sake and sweets are on sale at souvenir shops. Visitors might be able to spend a whole day.
