Ikura Cave

The huge 1,200meter limestone cave with 90meter altitude gap is located at Ikura, Niimi City. The Atetsu limestone plateau has been eroded by rainwater, forming the cave. Visitors will surely be impressed by 30 stalagmites and stalactites in strange shapes with specific names, such as hanging blind, draped dress and jellyfish. The 90meter stalactite which looks like a waterfall is an amazing artwork made by the force of nature.

800 yen for junior high school students
500 yen for children
