Cherry Blossoms at Utsubuki Park

Listed as one of Japan’s 100 most beautiful cherry blossom sites, and the best in the San’in Region, this extensive park turns pink in spring. The observatory commands a view over the whole city, and in the park, you will also find deer, guinea pigs and turtles.

 

How to get there:

1. Take a bus bound for the city center at JR Kurayoshi station, get off at Akagawara-Shirakabedozo in 12 minutes, and walk for 10 minutes.

2. Take a bus via city hall at JR Kurayoshi station and get off at Shiyakusho Utsubuki Koen Iriguchi in 17 minutes
