The contrast between Akiya’s red cliffs and blue ocean is breathtaking. The towering Heart Rock, called that because of the heart-shaped hollow area through its center, is popular as a power spot for good luck or marriage. There is also a legend that a goddess gave birth there. In summer, the area is crowded with campers.
