One of the most famous wooden bridges in Japan. Depending on the seasons, we can enjoy different scenery, cherry blossoms in spring and colored leaves in autumn. Visitors are recommended to go up to the top of the mountain by cable car to see Iwakuni Castle built in Momoyama Nanban style and enjoy the panoramic view of Iwakuni city.

Itsukushima Shrine, a World Heritage site, is famous for a vermillion-colored big gate and a shrine building in the Shinden (aristocratic residence) style, which induces an elegant historical feeling.
The island has some scenic spots to enjoy seasonal beauties, such as cherry blossoms in spring and tinged foliage in autumn.

The spacious park located in the center of Hiroshima City was constructed to pay homage to the victims of the Atomic Bomb and pray for everlasting world peace. In the park are the A-Bomb Dome, which is a World Heritage site, the Cenotaph of A-Bomb victims and the Peace Memorial Museum which shows how the city was before the bombing.

The second day

This is Japan’s first museum which features yokai (goblin). Yokai related items, such as picture scrolls, brocade pictures and ceramics are exhibited.
Near the museum are Miyoshi Winery and Toretta road station, where tasty local products can be enjoyed.

Fractures and holes have formed as rocks have been eroded by rapid water current in the river over a long course of time.
The huge gorge is the result of such topographical activities. Recently, Okuizumo Tatara and Sword Museum, which features traditional iron making and swords, has been gaining popularity, along with the view which looks like a scene from the famous animation “Demon Slayer”
